How could we tell whether a change in how we coordinate lasts beyond a program session?

A community program is evaluated both after completion and across repeated observations of coparenting. The two designs answer different questions about how adults manage conflict.

Who was studied?

Divorced or separated parents experiencing substantial interparental conflict; 102 completed the survey and 11 supplied repeated daily reports.

Age / stage: Children of separated parents

Read with three questions

  1. What does the daily record add to parents' end-of-program impressions?
  2. Did outcomes shift at the point when each participant began the intervention?
  3. How might the division of care in a different household affect how the findings apply?

Keep the limits in view

Repeated observations strengthen the single-case component, while a post-program survey measures retrospective perceptions. Neither sample establishes average effects in all separated families.
